Composite pin or line post insulators are non-puncture type, used on 10kv-36kv distribution and 66kv-132kv transmission lines. The light weight and better electrical performance makes the composite line post insulators a good choice. On 66kv-132kv lines, the insulators may compose 1-3 parts.
The base fitting for composite pin insulator can be a cap with spindle as a whole one or the spindle can be screwed into the cap. The top fitting is normally made by steel which can reduce the radio interference. We can also make the top fitting with other polymeric material such as HDPE or nylon.
Composite line post insulators use a flat or curved base fitting to assemble onto the electrical poles directly, and the top clamp can hold the conductor directly, save other line fittings. The insulators can be made horizontally or vertically, the end fitting type can be designed by the requirement of the end users..
